Lamb On The Rod

The sauce turned out pretty nice and really smelled like garlic so I knew we would like it.
We didn't marinate the lamb but a lot of people do.

Lamb on the Rod

1 leg of lamb cubed (if you are buying it in a supermarket, ask the butcher to cube it for you)lemon juice
garlic cloves minced
black pepper
salt
Place the cubed lamb in a bowl and soak in the marinade for a few hours. Place on skewers and grill.

Garlic and Pepper Sauce

2 to 3 fresh hot banana peppers or 1 small jar hot vinegar pepper rings
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped (to taste)
1/2 c. oil (more or less depending on how you like it)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix together and let sit for a few hours

  2. Your lamb on the rod rocks! With the addition of sauce over the top.

This past weekend we enjoyed french cut lamb chops on the grill and they were delicious.
